The David Gemmell Legend Awards

Our official Event Photographer - Peter Cloborn - has posted pictures of Friday's event on his Flickr 'stream' HERE It gives a lovely flavour of the evening. If you do recognise yourself but you haven't been 'labelled' do add a comment.

Over at the GUARDIAN ONLINE a wide-ranging discussion of Fantasy have begun. A little dissapointing that people are not talking about the Award much, or the winning book... but good that at least we've sparked discussion!

Also some interesting comments over at Mark Newtons Blog Thanks Mark!

And SFX has an article... HERE

More of interest as it comes in... My own account if anyone would like it (!) I should manage to get up this evening with some pics...

Here are some links to websites reporting or discussing the Award ceremony. It's far from being a complete list, so it'd be nice if people added more. Some of these sites simply report the result; others have extensive coverage and debate. Check them out!

Great Sam - good to see that we have sparked such discussion... and maybe have already convinced a few new readers to try some Fantasy? That just makes my day!

Look forward to the review...

There's going to be a full review of the book soon! The first Guardian post was testing the waters to see how people take to fantasy... Seems to have been a success... Would be most pleased if people from here were to read/comment on the book review when it goes up. The more interest that's shown in fantasy, the more we can write about it...

Be a Legend!
