Definitely glad to see this nominated even though it is the middle book of the trilogy and the story moves forward but is left up in the air ready for the concluding volume.

Hi,
The best way to describe Fiona's work is DG mixed with Melanie Rawn, adventure + political.
The best series to start with is " The Quickening "
It was her second series but the first published in the UK, a brilliant trilogy that had it all, one of my top 10 series of all time !!!
