I just finished this book, and I thought it was quite brilliant! Rreall good in fact; very exciting, humorous and shocking at the appropriate moments.... can't wait for the sequel!

Bought this on the strength of the review here and i am currently half way and can say that i am enjoyin it immensely.
It makes a change to have a fantasy novel i this setting that is actually good.

Just seen a date of September this year for book 2

The second book is as good, no..even better than the first one!
For once beeing French is an advantage, i'm now waiting for book 3!
(Normally I always have to wait for translation! ;))

Oh Phooka how I envy you, I stayed up last night to finish book 1 as it had me gripped.

I remember how the first one finishes and i know that it is difficult to wait for the second book. But now i'm waiting for the third one since the second also finishes on a similar "revelation" thing . That's awful to have to wait !!
