Another 3rd in a set of books lol, sounds great too and the authors name is awesome. Still gives me a lot of books to read and new authors to encounter.

I co-host a comics and genre podcast which includes a sci-fi, fantasy and genre book club. Every six or seven weeks the hosts pick a book from a list of suggestions from listeners, or one of our suggestions, and then we discuss it on the show with comments, feedback, even audio clips, from listeners.
The next bookclub selection is first book in the Shadows of the Apt series, Empire in Black and Gold, by Adrian Tchaikovsky. So towards the end of January we will be talking about the book on the podcast and Adrian has very kindly agreed to come on for an interview and to answer questions from our listeners/readers. So, if you would like to take part, pick up a copy of Empire, and then send us your comments and questions for Adrian. Right in time for Christmas!!!

Just FYI for our Members - Stephen very politely asked for permission before advertising his podcast & posting his link and we thought that since in this instance, it will lead directly to an interview with Mr Tchaikovsky (or Insect Man, as he's known around these parts!) we'd let this one slide...

At the risk of disloyally supporting a book not published by my own company, Adrian's books are fantastic. The idea is fresh, the writing is easy to read but not dumbed down, the action is well-handled, and the sieges are amazing. Well looking forward to the fourth one.
